The brief.
RADDSports delivered an unsolicited proposal for a $35M indoor sports events center to Alachua County, which broke ground in 2021. The facility opened as a flagship indoor asset at Celebration Pointe and became the centerpiece of Gainesville's 2025 World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships bid — co-produced with Alachua County, USATF, Visit Gainesville, and the Gainesville Sports Commission.

Configurable capacity is what turns square footage into economic output
ACSEC was programmed for event versatility from the first sketch. The same floor that hosts a regional basketball tournament on Saturday can host a state cheer championship the following weekend and a 24-event World Masters track meet the month after. That flexibility — engineered into the bay layout, the curtain systems, and the loading geometry — is the difference between a 200-day building and a 320-day building.
WMACI 2025: hosting the world
The 10th World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships brought 4,000+ athletes from 80+ countries to Gainesville across March 22–28, 2025. A 200m banked Mondo track, 24 athletic events, hundreds of volunteers, and the local organizing committee built by RADDSports with USATF and Alachua County.
